Vaisnavi Sivananthan

Vaisnavi Sivananthan deserves the Community Engagement & Leadership Award for 15 years of dedicated involvement in building opportunities for children, youth, adults, and families through dance, sport, and community initiatives. As a Co-Founder of Starz Dance Academy, she has helped create an inclusive environment where people can grow their skills, confidence, creativity, and sense of belonging through dance.

Vaisnavi also serves as Director of Finance for the Tamil Canadian Cricket Association. In this role, she supports the organization’s growth and sustainability while helping TCCA expand community cricket opportunities for players, teams, families, volunteers, and local partners. Her leadership is grounded in responsibility, organization, and a genuine commitment to ensuring community programs can continue to serve people for years to come.

Through both Starz and TCCA, Vaisnavi has consistently contributed her time, expertise, and care to initiatives that bring people together. She helps create spaces where individuals can participate, develop their potential, connect with others, and take pride in their community.
