Mark Lorray

Mark Lorray started his first business at 23 with just $22.01 in his pocket. That start shaped the resourcefulness he now passes on to other entrepreneurs. Today he is a business coach, author and podcast host who helps service-based business owners stop chasing clients and start attracting them through his Client to Cash Framework.

Mark has been coaching since at least 2007, and his work focuses on positioning, personal branding, lead generation and meaningful business relationships. Through Mark Lorray Coaching he runs programs for business owners at every stage. They range from his Inner Circle community, which offers group coaching, masterclasses and accountability sessions for entrepreneurs growing on a limited budget, to a 12-month Business Growth Accelerator for established businesses. He calls himself a "No Excuses" coach and pushes clients toward accountability and action. Clients credit him with helping them land their first clients within days.

Mark's commitment reaches well beyond his own clients. He recently became Chair of Membership Growth & Engagement for the Scarborough Business Association, where his stated goal is "an environment where business owners can connect, collaborate, access opportunities, and feel supported." He has also served on the Membership and Youth Business committees of the Ajax Pickering Board of Trade. As co-host of the People of Durham podcast, he shares the stories of local entrepreneurs and community leaders, and he has spoken to young people about entrepreneurship at Scarborough Youth Bridge to Employment. Connecting GTA has seen his support first-hand. He has helped us promote our events, create videos and sharpen our messaging, coaching us to tell our own story better.
